Did you know…..
As
much of an enthusiast as some of us would like to be, most of us aren’t
designers by nature, and that’s ok. To enjoy the robustness of most of your
application design needs, especially when it comes to designing or creating
icons, you don’t have to be.
If
you’re looking for a way to access and use a plethora of familiar ICONS
without having to design them yourself, then look no further. There are tons of
them at your disposal.
If
you have a Windows machine and Visual Studio, you can access the Windows Shell
32 ICON set.
Here’s
How:
Open
Visual Studio
Click
On The File , Open menu selection.
Navigate
To C://Windows//System32/Shell32.dll
Click
On The Icons link in the
menu section
Right
Click, and select export to
export the icons to your desired location.
And
Viola...ICONS Served!
*Note
- The icons are in numerical format and you have to meander around a bit to
find the icons you want to use.
You can also find free icon packs here
You’re
welcome.
